156 tasks in 2 hours 50 minutes: lexis and grammar — 90 tasks in 70 minutes, listening — 30 in 25, reading — 30 in 25, writing — 3 in 25, speaking — 3 in 25. The structure and timings are the same as for B1.
The official name of the level is “ортодон жогору” (upper-intermediate). Under the Cabinet resolution of April 2025, B2 is required from state and municipal employees from 2027, and from public-sector workers (teachers, doctors) from 2028.
Kyrgyztest allows retaking individual subtests or the whole test. The waiting time depends on the score: 50–59 points — after 3 working days, 40–49 — after 10 working days, below 40 — after 30 days.
The B2 course has 10 modules built on the level's official requirements: official-style speech, argument and justified evaluation, letters to state institutions, a reasoning article; it ends with revision and an exam week.
